About 5 - 10 years ago, you would have found classic red telephone boxes like this lot gleening clean and fully functional, with a long queue waiting to use them. But since the advent of affordable mobile phone technology, they've now become derilict eye sores dotting the UK landscape.
Discovered to my horror back in December last year that it cost a minimum of the Queen's English 60 pence to make a phone call to just a home landline number from one of these boxes.
