The Fourth Plinth is in the north-west of Trafalgar Square, in central London. Built in 1841, it was originally intended for an equestrian statue but was empty for many years. It is now the location for specially commissioned artworks.Antony Gormley's One & Other gives two thousand four hundred people their hour on the plinth, between 6 July and 14 October 2009.
You can play your part in making this idea a reality – either by volunteering yourself, by telling others about it, or by experiencing it online or on the square itself.
